The conflicts that emerged as americans moved westward were indian wars , the homestead act ,and the protests by the farmers. The oppurtunities that emerged as americans moved westward were mining , ranching, and railroad building. The indians peaceful lifestyle was rudely interupted by the americans . Farmers were trying thier hardest for the crops to grow. Railroad building for immigrants was hard .

I think that some of the conflicts that emerged as Indians moved Westward were the Wars, and the land issues like there not being enough to spare.

Some of the oppertunities that also emerged were farming, building roads, and mining sometimes.
The Americans were so irresponsible and rude, that they distracted the Indians with their nonsence.

Well there were a few things that the Americans faced while moving west.First of them was the wars that were going on during the time.
There were a lot of fights between them and also the lans problem. Poeple were fighting for land. But there were also some good things about them moving west like the mining. People were finding all kinds of things while doing this job. There were also the road buildings. This was a easyer way for them to travel. Also since the roads were being built there was work for the Americans because they probably need help. Well those are somethings that the Americans faced and somethings that happened to them that were good while they moved west.

Some of the african americans were told that there were oportunities in the west, but it was only gossip. So they went, some found jobs but some didn't.The reason was because people in the west said that they'll have free rent, jobs, and $500.But when they got there they were no such thing.

Many people settle to the west for many reasons that brought them brought them great opportunities and conflicts. The one that stood out the most to me was the Homestead Act. Many African Americans left the South for the hope of freedom and to better thier lives. The Homestead Act so called promised that the government would give freland and $500 that moved to Kansas. The rumor was a lie but African American still settled down onthe farms and small comunities.

In the mid-and late 1800's,settlement of the west brought opportunities for many Americans. But it also brought conflicts,as settlers invaded Indian homelands.Cowboys herded cattle north to be shipped to meatpacking plants. The travelers had to survive with limited resources, food was very difficult to find. Miners searched for gold, silver, and other minerals in the hills and mountians. Also, in the grassy plains, ranchers hired cowboys to herd their cattle. But this rising tide of migration brought further conflict with American Indians. The tribes in the great plains would fight long and hard against the massive invasion of their lands and destruction of their way to live. Farmers faced such challenges as crop-eating insects and drough. Those are some of the opportunities and conflics that emerged as American's moved westward.

In The mid and late 1800's settlement of the west brought many opportunities for amercicans. The Gold rush fever sparked a rush of prospecters to the west. Riding along Chisholm trail and other routes cowboys herded cattle morth to be shiped to meet packing.the spread of railroads across the west brought wealthto railroad barens and open the region to settlement.Their protest movements gave raise to the populist party.

I THINK MOST OF THE CONFLICTS CAME FROM AMERICANS AS THEY MOVED WESTWARD AND THEY STARTED TO TAKE OVER THE INDIAN LAND AND STARTED A CONFLICT.
OPPORTUNITIES THAT EMERGED WHERE FARMING AND MINING.WHICH HELPED THE AMERICANS ALOT BUT UPSET THE INDIANS.

Some African Americans were told taht they could move westward and their would be land avaliable for them. They were also told that they would get five hundred dollars. So they took their families and moved, only to find out that the whole thing was a lie. There was no land for free or no five hundred dollars. So some of them became farmers. Some of them had to stay and make use of their new life. Those are some opportunities and conflicts that emerged as Americans moved westward.

Settlement in the West in the mid- and late 1800's brought opportunities for many Americans. But this migration also sparked conflict as settlers invaded Indian homelands. Some opportunities were mining, ranching, and Transcontinental railroad. Some conflicts were the Indian Wars, Homestead Act, protests by farmers. That is what the settlement in the westward caused.
