Horizontal integration was the first strategy it joined them togather as many firm from the same industrias possible. The secound one was vertical integration this involved taking control of each step in the production and distribution of a product. Laissez-faire held that the market through supply and demand would regulate itself if government didn't interfere. The last one was the social Darwinism held that the best-run business led by the most capable people would survive and prosper. (pg171) donte mcgee :P
The Horizontel Intergration helped the economy because this approach called for joining together as many firms from the same industry as possible. Also the vertial intergration helped the economy because this approach involved takin control of each step in production and distribution of a product.Vertical Intergration gave carnegie complete control of the production process and the power to dominate the steel industry. Laissez-faire which means "allow to do". To political leaders this mean to "leave business alone" It would regulate itself if government did not interfere. social Darwinism discouraged governmnet regulaton of business practices. It argued that government should leave businesses alone to succeed or fail on their own. (pg 171) - Cynthia Y. Lamas
The Horizontal integration really helped the economy a lot. They wanted to join as many as firms as they could from the same places. They used it in the Standard Oil's practice to buy refineries so they could gain control of the rest of the oil refining industry. It helped the economy a lot. Then for the Vertical integration helped the economy by them taking control of each step in the production and distribution of the product. With the intergration they could control what ever they wanted down to the transported they use. When they used the Laissez-Faire it kind of helped the economy. It only said that the political had to leave the market alone. This helped because it lowered the prices down. So they would keep it this way as long as the government would try to tell them what to do. Lastly was the Social Darwinism. Poeple based this as Darwin's theory. He said that people who know who to run a business would surive all that was going on.This helped the economy because it told government to leave the businesses alone to succeed or fail to there own. Now they could make there own choice to help there businesses or make them fail. (pg 171) Karla Ortiz
The horizontel interagation helped the economy because this approachcalled for joining together as many firms from the same industry as possible. Also it helped Vertical Interagation the ecnomy because this approched involved taking control of each steo in production and distribution of a product.Vertical interagation gave Carnegie complete control of the production process and the power to dominate the steel industry.Lassiez-faire Would regalate itself if goverment did notinterfear."Allow to do" to politcal leaders, this meant "leave bussiness alone".Social Darwinism, also discouraged goverment regulation of bussiness practices. Social Darwinistis argued that goverment should leave bussinesses alone to succed or fail on their own.(Pg.171) -Karen Morales
Horizontal integration helped the economy by it causing many people to want to form a social circle, and then discuss the things their firms all in common.(171)
Vertical Integration helped by letting people take hand of what they were doing. Also they manufactured and shipped things to and from places.(171)
If we didn't have Laissez-Faire, we wouldnt have anyone to support the things we need to help support the market place. In french, this means "allow to do", and to political leaders, that means "leave business alone". (171)
Without Social Darwinism, there wouldnt best-run businesses, there would only be jacked up, raggidy, run-down businesses, and no one wants that to happen. (171)
THE HORIZONTAL INTEGRATION HAD APPROACH AND CALLED FOR JOINING TOGETHER AS MANY FIRMS FORM THE SAME INDUSTRY AS SOME AS POSSIBLE.STANDARD OIL'S PRACTICE ON BUYING UP REFINERIES TO GAIN CONTROL OF THE OIL-REFINING INDUSTRY THE VERTICAL INTEGRATION THEY DECIDED TO TAKE CONTROL OF EACH STEP IN THE PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION.THEY ALOS BOUGHT THE SHIPS AND RAILROAD THAT TRANSPORTED SUPPLIES AND FINISHED PRODUCT THE LAISSEZ-FAIRE THEY DEMAND SUPPLY.WOULD REGULATE ITSELF IF GOVERNMENT DID NOT INTERFERE. ~TANAE~
Horizontal intergration joined together as many firms from the same industry as possible. The verticle intergration involved them taking control of each step in the production and distribution of a product.
Laissez-faire stated that the market through supply and demand would, would regulate itself if government didnt interfere.
The last idea thet came up with is called the social Darwinism, which held that the best ran business led by the most capable people would survive and prosper.
The first strategy is the Horizontal integration. It helped the economy by joining together as many firms from the industry as possible. The second strategy is the vertical integration. It involved taking control of each step in the production and distribution of a product. Carnegie bought ships and railroads that transported supplies and finished products. Laissez-faire held at a market, would regulate itself if government did not interfere. The social Darwinism also discouraged government regulation of business practices.(pg.171) Kierstan Hill

Innovations in technology and business boosted American industury in the late 1800's. Some reasons were because of large steel, oil,and railroad corporations that dominated the economy. Another thing that business boosted American industry was that they had little governmental control.Industrial produced greater access to goods, services, and it improved standards for many Americans, but not all.
The horizontal integration bought up many companies and joined together many industries as possible. The vertical integration own factors of production, they own the companies, andyou own everything in the process. The Laissez- faire held that the market through supply and demand would regulate itself if government didn't interfere. The Laissez-faire means "allow to do". -lucero

Ather idea that helped is vertical intergration. This idea let you control your production and distribution of your product.
Many companies were becoming rich and were distroying their competition which was bad for the buyers. So many lawmakers passed the laissez-faire which ment allow to do. It ment the government couldn't help or get involve with these companies.Another idea was social Darwinism which ment that the government should leave these companies to fail or to get rich on their own. For example if you get broke the government can't help you. This ideas help the economy a lot because then the richer don't always get richer.
