At the start of the 20th century, the United States was an imperialist nation with overseas possessions. Three presidents developed foreign policies designed to expand Americans power and protect American interest. Name the three presidents, their policies and what they meant to our nation.

ROOSEVELT:CAME UP WITH THE BIG STICK POLICY.WHICH WAS DESIGNED TO BRING ORDER AND STABILITY TO THE HEMISPHERE.
TAFT:CAME UP WITH THE DOLLAR DIPLOMACY.WAS TO ENCOURAGE AND PROTECT AMERICAN TRADE AND INVESTMENT IN LATIN AMERICA AND ASIA.TAFT BELIEVED THAT A STRONG ECONOMIC PRESENCE ABROAD WOULD ADVANCE AMERICAN INTERESTS.
WILSON:CAME OUT WITH MORAL DIPLOMACY.WILSON THREATENS TO KEEP WAGGING HIS FINGER IF MEXICO DIDN'T BEHAVE.IT WAS BASED ON DEMOCRATIC IDEALS,RATHER THAN ON ECONOMIC INVESTMENTOR THE USE OF FORCE.

The Big Stick Policy, The Moral Diplomacy, and the Dollar Diplomacy.
The first policy is the Big Stick policy, written by Theodore Roosevelt. It was meant to defend the Western Hemisphere. It was Roosevelts strong arm approach to foreign affairs.
The second policy is the Dollar Diplomacy, written by William Howard Taft. meant to encourage and protect American trade and investment in Latin America and Asia.
Last but not least the Moral Diplomacy, written by Woodrow Wilson. It was his approach to foreign policy, focusing on promoting democratic ideals aboard.

The three presidents were Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, and Woodrow Wilson. Theodore Roosevel'ts policy was the Big Stick Policy which was an extention of the Monroe Doctrine. It Dealed with other places quietly. And the U.S. had great power. William Howard Taft's Policy was The Dollar Diplomacy. It was a Stronger Economy. It was to protect the U.S. Trade in Latin American and Asia. And it limit the forces over seas. Woodrow Wilson's policy was the Moral Diplomacy. It used power to aid development of constitutional liberty in the world. It was Democratic ideals and National Integraty.

1.) Theodore Roosevelt: wanted to make the United States a great power that could exert influence around the world. He beleived that the country must meet any challenge to it's national interest abroad. He beleived in working quitely and patiently. so he created the "Big stick policy".
2.) William Howard Taft: was to encourage and protect American trade and investment in Latin American and Asia. He beleived a strong economic american interests.
3.) Woodrow Wilson: It was based democratic ideals, rather than economic investment or the use of force. He beleived the United States should use it's powerto aid the developement of constitutional liberty in the world. The policy is based on human rights, national integrity, and opportunity.

The three American presidents that developed foreign policies were Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft,and Woodrow Wilson. Thedore Roosevelt thought of the Big stick Policy which meant that the U.S.A should work quickly and patiently to achieve their goals overseas but use force if necessary.Next was William Howard Taft who developed the Dollar Diplomacy which ment that the U.S.A should encourage and protect American trade and investment in Latin America and Asia. Last was Woodrow Wilson who develop the Dollar Diplomacy which means thehe want to spread democratic ideals overseas. Yet he also used force to uphold American interest.

THIS WAS MADE TO FOCUS ON ENCOURAGINGAND PROTECTING THE U.S. TRADE AND INVESTMENTS IN LATIN AMERICA AND ASIA.THE THRID POLICY WAS MADE BY PRESIDENT TAFT AND IS CALLED THE MORAL DIPLOMACY. President Theodore Roosevelt: He invented the big stick policy. It was desined to bring order to the hemisphere.It was invented in 1904 and other way to say it was Roosevelts strong arm.
President William Howard Taft: Taft invented the Dollar diplomacy. It was made to protect and encourage American trade and investment in latin American interests.
President Woodrow Wilson: He invented the Moral Diplomacy.It was based on democratic ideals.

The three presidents help the U.S. a lot.Roosevelt came up with the BIG STICK POLICY. This means that he thought in working quietly and patiiently to achieve goals overseas but using force if necessary.He want to protect the intterests of the country.
Then president taft made the DOLLAR DIPLOMACY.This means that he wanted to encourage and protect American trade and investment in Latin American and Asia. By this it would adavance in American interests.
The last person was Wilson and he did the Moral Diplomacy.This was based on democratic ideals and not on economic investment or the use of force.He thought that we should base our ideals to help make the country bigger and better.
This is how the three presidents help the U.S. with the three Diplomacy.
